Magicians can choose to either start in specializing in white or black magic. A White Mage has two paths to choose from.
Wise beyond their years, Magicians love magic above all else. Magicians of all disciplines make up for frailer bodies with high ranged-damage output.
White Mage:
Level 20
They use defensive spells such as replenishing party members' hit points with spells such as Cure and curing status conditions. Typically having a weak and limited repertoire of attack spells and an inability to use heavy weaponry or armor, their primary use is support for other members of a battle party. Usually their only offensive skill is the magic Holy, which deals heavy damage to a target, regardless of whether or not the target is undead. They often cast 'holy'-element spells, which are typically effective against undead or demonic enemies.

Paladin:
Level 40
Unlike White Magi who have little to no fighting capability, Paladins have more holy damage dealing spells with better defense since they can wear heavier armor. This class gains de-buffs that raise certain stats for a set amount of time. Along with this comes moves that can lower an opponents stats, along with temporarily immobilizing enemies.

Oracle:
Level 60
They are the masters of healing and de-buffs, gaining devastating AoE attacks that immobilizes enemies for awhile. With enemies stunned, they can turn their attention to healing those around them to make sure no one will fall. If one does, an Oracle can easily bring them back to life.

Druid:
Level 40
They may be healers like Paladins, but their healing ability comes from nature. Instead of wearing holy armor, they prefer light-weight clothing that doesn't restrict movement. Being attuned more to nature, Druids have a shape-shifting ability to take on the forms of this class' spirit animals which allow them to adapt better in certain situations. For attacking, they specialize more in swiftly attacking a single enemy and often have a chance of poisoning with their attacks. They are often referred to as feral because their swift attacks seem very similar to that of a wild animal.

Shaman:
Level 60
Those in this class seem even more feral than when they were a Druid. They rely more on their shape-shifting powers to give them strength because they are more attuned to nature when in animal forms. Their swift attacks are more likely to leave lingering effects on the receiver, which if left unattended, can do serious damage. Their healing abilities are just as impressive as an Oracle's, able to heal all of those around them.

---------
Black Mage:
Level 20
Instead of using their magic to heal, they use theirs to damage with spells like fireball. The majority of their time is spent studying over their spells and not exactly being very active in increasing their physical strength. However, when the time comes to practice spells, this increases their endurance so they can whip out spells for longer periods of time. Their spells are generally centered around the different elements such as fire, water, wind, and lightning.

Battle Mage:
Level 40
Completely at home on the battlefield, Battle magi are specialized assault casters trained for large damage output with their large range of Area-of-Effect spells. These Spear-wielders are fierce combatants with decent melee defense, and consistently overthrow the assumption that casters are fragile ranged opponents.

Warlock:

If that doesn't work, they still have their daggers and martial arts skills to finish off their enemy.
