| Kazuhiko grunted when the table's leg collided with his side, but the pain didn't last long. Shiyuchi grabbed his arm almost immediately, and a familiar tingling sensation ran through his entire body. Black marks spread throughout his torso, and the pain went away in a flurry. The markings didn't spread too far, probably because they had had a big fight that day. It would be enough to deal with the problem at hand though.
As soon as he regained full control of himself, Kazuhiko put some distance between them and the table, dodging the attacks that it was launching their way. "Of course I can do that, moron. It's not as if you had to tell me, I can think for myself." He focused his gaze on the slightly glowing yellow core that was sitting right on top of the table's surface, completely unguarded. It was almost too easy. The table's attack patterns were relatively easy to read, so dodging the legs while getting closer to it wasn't too hard. The difference between being possessed by Tsuhanako and fighting alone was outstanding, even when their synchro-rate was as low as it was today.
Before long, he was right in front of the table-monster. He tried punching right through its core, but the table used its legs to guard. Bits of wood and splinters flew into the air, but the legs didn't break completely. Dodging them at such a close range was difficult, so Kazuhiko jumped backwards, putting distance between them and the monster once again. "Looks like I'll have to do it until the legs break... it won't take that long though..."

| Shiyuchi had to really bite his tongue at Kazu-chan's first reply, keeping his mind focused on defeating the table and letting those thoughts fill his mind since that goal would be the same as Kazu-chan's. It was easy to dodge the monster table's attacks how they were currently. Shiyuchi let himself feel a sort of pride in being able to do so as well as in Kazu-chan. They were in range to strike its core, but the table blocked the attack causing Kazu-chan to have to jump back. The legs were quick in reaction to defending its core, which made sense since it needed that to stay intact to continue moving about.
When Kazu-chan revealed his strategy for trying to defeat it, Shiyuchi wanted to smack him, but when he began to disagree with the other, he could feel their sync-rate begin to drop. Quickly, he changed his mindset to keep it from dropping any further.
Are you against charging in with our finishing move to get this over with quickly? He suggested, figuring their spiritual glaive could bust through the table's arms easily and be able to get to the core. If they were both set on that plan it the same way, it should raise their sync-rate as long as they focus on that.
The monster table had taken a moment to look at its legs while Kazu-chan and Shiyuchi had started talking to each other, but now its focus was back on them and they had to make a decision right away.

| Kazuhiko would glare at the ghost if he could, but sadly it wasn't possible while he was possessing him. "I just wanted to be cautious. With the mood I'm in, and I'm pretty sure it's mutual, it would be hard to bring out the glaive." The boy huffed, starting to dodge the attacks that the table was sending their way, now that it was done checking the damage on its legs. "I guess we can try though." It was true they didn't have any time to waste. At least he didn't, thanks to a certain someone. He had to clear those thoughts out of his mind though, or else the weapon produced would be either really weak or plain wouldn't come out.
He jumped back further away from the table, somewhere where he didn't have to dodge for a few seconds, and extended his left hand. He closed his eyes, feeling a soft drift spiraling upwards around him, messing with his clothes and hair. Dark purple swirls of energy emerged from the edges of a likely colored circle on the ground, snaking upwards until they reached the medium's extended hand, where they started to concentrate and form a shape. Kazuhiko opened his eyes, and the energy solidified into a simple glaive, which now rested on his hand.
"It's one of the simplest ones... guess it's the most I can ask with out current states of mind though. It should be enough to break through the table's legs though." He grabbed their newly acquired weapon with both hands, and made a charge towards the table. Much like before, when he got too close, the table moved its legs to defend the core. However, this time a hit from the glaive was enough to shatter both legs, and land a solid hit on the core. The yellow mass of energy shattered into tiny pieces, which seemed to dissolve into the air as they flew. Kazuhiko exhaled and the glaive dissolved into the purple swirls of energy that had transformed into it. Looked like the fight was over.

| Shiyuchi was glad that Kazu-chan decided to go with his idea, not saying anything in reply so as to not lower their sync-rate anymore. His closed his "eyes" exactly when Kazu-chan did, feeling the energy that began to move around them softly until it formed the glaive for Kazu-chan to take a hold of. He already knew it was the best they could do without Kazu-chan telling him so, and he made himself focus on their charge towards the table. Like he thought, it was enough to break through to the core and destroy it.
As the core was destroyed, the spirit possessing the table could no longer possess it, and it rushed out as it moved on from their world. The table fell to the ground, an inanimate object again, now with two broken legs and really scratched up. Any trace of the core on it was gone as well.
Since they had used their finishing move, and their sync-rate was low enough as it was, Shiyuchi un-possessed Kazu-chan, himself as energy moving away from the other before materializing as himself again. He looked at the table before them for a moment, before he turned away from it and began to walk back to the house, not saying anything to Kazu-chan.

| Kazuhiko sighed as he watched the core disappear and the spirit that had been taking control of the table finally move on. The piece of furniture made a soft noise as it fell lifeless onto the ground, now with two completely broken legs and a very scratched surface. He then felt the familiar tingling sensation yet again, as energy started coming out of him in waves, slowly forming the shape of Tsuhanako, until he turned back into himself. The medium watched as his partner looked at the table for a moment before leaving towards the house, without a word.
He stood there for a few minutes, staring at the table and the place where the spirit had disappeared, before finally starting to make his way back too. The rest of the day went on as usual, with the exception that Kazuhiko had to stay up late at night to finish with his schoolwork, all thanks to the childish prank of a certain someone. He had the feeling their synchro-rate wouldn't be going back up for some time.
The next morning, Kazuhiko woke up with a grunt, blindly smacking his bedside table until he hit the source of the alarm. He yawned and stretched, watching the ceiling for a few seconds before willing himself to get up. He went through his morning routine like a zombie, until he was sitting at the dining room, poking at his breakfast. He decided he was too tired to bother eating after the first couple of bites, instead heading for the bathroom to wash his face and hopefully finish waking up.

| Shiyuchi woke up at his usual time, going through the usual routine, yet ended up taking a toaster waffle with him out onto the front porch to eat. He sat on the step that led up onto the porch, his backpack beside along with a cup of orange juice, and stared out at the street as he ate. He heard Kazu-chan inside getting ready like usual, imagining the others everyday habits in the morning, almost knowing exactly what the other was doing. It's what happened when you were up before the other and were able to see every single morning for more than a year what the other does.
When the time came closer, Shiyuchi hopped onto his bike to head for school. The day went like normal, and after school was done with he went on home. Shiyuchi planned to finish his homework before just relaxing since he thought that since there was a monster yesterday, there wouldn't be one today. He barely set foot inside the house when he felt that sensation like he did yesterday. There was another monster again today. He dropped his stuff and turned around, waiting for Kazu-chan to arrive so they could leave together. He wasn't going to leave without the Medium this time so as soon as they met the monster, they should be able to stop it quickly. Kazu-chan shouldn't have been too far behind.
It'd be nice too if the monster was like the table yesterday with its core so easily seen. That was the hardest part of fighting them; their cores being hidden. Once the core was found, you at least knew where to aim, and it only took one hit to destroy the core and stop the monster.

| Fortunately, school that day was normal, and Kazuhiko managed to stay awake during all of his classes. The dark bags under his eyes were slightly noticeable though, so he had to spend a big part of his free time telling people (mostly girls) he was fine, and that he hadn't slept well, that was all. At least it was half true. When the bell signaling the end of school finally rung, Kazuhiko packed his things and left as quickly as he could, if only to avoid more people asking him if he was sick or something, since it was unusual for him to look so tired. He got onto his bicycle, waving a quick goodbye at the few people that were also outside already, and started making his way back home.
When he reached the house, he got off his bike and pushed it over to its usual parking spot, locking the chain onto it and grabbing his bag so he could go inside and relax for a minute. He stopped and blinked in slight confusion when he saw Tsuhanako standing there on the door, sa if he had been waiting for something. He thought of ignoring him and just going to his room, but the ghost wasn't leaving any space for him to walk past, what with him standing right in the middle of the doorway.
"...What are you doing?" He wasn't sure if he wanted to talk to his ghost partner or not, seeing how any kind of interaction they had always ended up in some sort of argument, but he really had no choice this time. He was tired enough as it was, thanks to the same person blocking the way between him and his bed, so he just wanted to get over with whatever was going on right away.

| When the other finally returned home, he gave no signs that he had noticed it. Shiyuchi knew that the Medium could sense it, since he was a Medium after all. He was giving the other some time to shape up and notice it, but the other went on as if nothing was amiss. Shiyuchi crossed his arms, acting like his usual haughty self.
"Are you so dense that you can't sense it? There's another monster appearing. We need to go stop it," he answered, grabbing a hold of Kazu-chan by his upper arm to drag him off. "So, notice it now? Or do you need to have me posses you to make you more competent?"
His grip was strong so then Kazu-chan couldn't get away from him. Once the medium finally woke up and realized that there was a monster, Shiyuchi would possess him and they could rush to the scene and take care of it quickly.

| "Wha-" Kazuhiko barely had time to process what was happening before he was being forcefully dragged away by the arm. It took him a few seconds to understand the entire situation, which was pretty simple. Another monster had appeared somewhere near them so they needed to stop it, and Tsuhanako was being a jerk. "Just hold on a second. Who the hell's fault do you think it is that I'm this tired in the first place?!" He stomped his feet into the ground and tried to yank his limb free from the other's grip, glaring at him as he did so. The ghost's utter lack of any kind of sense of responsibility was getting to him. At least the adrenaline he was getting from wanting to punch the other in the face was helping him be more awake.
"If you hadn't been a complete child and done something so pointless and stupid, there would have been no problem yesterday in the first place!" He didn't even care if he was yelling at the other in the middle of the street anymore. Not many people walked by during that hour anyway, so there wasn't much of an audience for their little fight either. "Seriously, it's like your entire existence revolved around trying to make my life harder and miserable! Don't you have better things to do with your time?!" The idea of a monster rampaging around somewhere and the need to stop it completely slipped from Kazuhiko's mind as all the pent up anger he had been holding back spilled out in the form of yelling and pulling at his arm so he could punch the ghose decently.

| "Besides stopping monsters like the one we need to take care of now, no," Shiyuchi answered, not even bothering to look back at the other. He didn't really have anything better to do. School was easy, he wasn't part of any after school club (couldn't anyways because he had to be able to take care of monsters), and there was nothing that interested him except martial arts. Bothering Kazu-chan was one thing that kept him entertained.
Despite Kazu-chan trying to pull free of his grip, Shiyuchi did not let go of the other. Again, the monster was appearing in somewhere in the forest. Now, to find out where it could be. He continued to pull Kazu-chan off in the direction of the monster.

| "Oh good, so at least we agree on the fact that your stupid life has no real meaning...!" Kazuhiko continued to glare and yell and struggle all the way to the forest, although in the end he wasn't able to get Tsuhanako to let go of his arm. It was honestly starting to hurt, and if he kept at it much longer, it might bruise. Being this close to the newly born monster, he was starting to feel its presence too, even through the cloud of tiredness and sheer anger that was currently suffocating all of his other thoughts.
He planted his feet on the ground, this time being more successful at it since it was earth, and he could bury his heels into it. If Tsuhanako kept pulling him, he'd only get them both to fall. He didn't think the ghost was capable of dragging him through the forest like that, since there were many roots and other obstacles in the ground that he could use as support to keep himself in place.
"Would you stop being such a self-centered jerk already?!" If they kept going the monster's way like this, they'd only manage to get attacked by it and then trying to get in physical contact with each other might end up being a hassle. It was better if they stopped here so Tsuhanako could possess him and they could beat that monster and maybe then he could go on with his life, preferably undisturbed for the rest of the day.

| Shiyuchi stopped when Kazu-chan dug his heels into the earth to stop them from going further. He turned around, a slightly bemused smile on his face, and shook his head. Kazu-chan sure was an energetic one even when he like a zombie from being so tired.
"Now you're just trying to ruin my fun," he replied, before possessing Kazu-chan, since it seemed the other wasn't going to be dragged any farther.
Come on, let's get going. That monster won't defeat itself.

| Kazuhiko groaned, but started to make his way through the forest nonetheless. He didn't even notice how he was still considerably tired, even though being possessed by Tsuhanako was supposed to give him a surge of energy of some sort. He was too pissed off and all he wanted to do was get all of this over with as quickly as possible. "You know, this'll be a lot faster if you just shut the heck up. The mere sound of your voice annoys me."
Kazuhiko continued to walk towards where he could feel the monster, until the soft sound of ruffling leaves could be heard. The noise was too strong to be natural, there was barely a breeze. It was either the monster they were looking for or some wild forest critter walking through some bushes. The strength of the feeling told him it was the first one though.
As they got closer, Kazuhiko could have a better look at what was waiting for them. He could see a particularly big tree standing out a little from the others, although what made it more visible was the fact that it was walking through the forest. Its roots and part of its trunk were split into two thick legs that creaked with every movement the monster made. The tree itself was even taller than it looked, since the monster's body was hunched over, with smaller trees and moss growing all over its back. The core wasn't in plain sight, unlike the day before with the table. That automatically complicated things even further. "Damn."

| What, you thought it was always going to be easy? Shiyuchi replied, just try to find the core before it notices us.
If anything, the core was probably up high on the tree monster. Of course things couldn't be easy for them today. The tree was also quite huge, with these branches for arms. One hit from those would not be pretty. It was just a good thing that while Shiyuchi was possessing the Medium, he was much more durable than when he was just a normal human.
The tree monster continued to walk through the forest, moving a bit slowly as it crushed anything under its feet. It hadn't notice the Medium and Ghost yet. What could be considered its face was an angry one, formed by the knots and grooves in the tree trunk. It made it look very frightening, and its capability for destruction made it even more frightening.

| "Didn't I just tell you to shut up...?!" Kazuhiko silently made his way towards the monster, being careful not to do anything stupid like snapping a twig with one of his feet. He still couldn't see any trace of the core. That meant it had to be somewhere in the bushy areas of the monster, where it could be covered by the leaves and branches. That meant it was either on its back, or all the way at the top. Whichever one it was, it wouldn't be an easy place to attack.
"Well, screw it," He was honestly too tired to care anymore. Kazuhiko charged in towards the monster, taking advantage of its slow movements to close in. The branches it used as arms and weapons were much faster than its legs though, and they immediately sprung up to cover as much of the monster's body as possible. Kazuhiko used them as footing to jump all the way to the tree's top, preparing to attack. He would usually still be scanning the monster for any signs of its core at this point, but not today. If he attacked it enough times, he'd eventually either land a hit on the core, or end up destroy the monster the hard way.

| Shiyuchi sighed in exasperation at the other when he said to shut up. Thought it seemed Kazu-chan's patience couldn't last long and he charged out to attack the tree. Of course, Shiyuchi was not for this plan, but they were losing how well they were synced. Kazu-chan's idiocy didn't help things either. The tree used its arms for defense, which Kazu-chan used to hop up the tree monster, starting to just randomly hit the tree.
What the heck was he doing!? Did he seriously think a plan of hit everywhere and hope for the best was going to work!? And then that thinking wasn't helping them either.
Kazu-ch-hiko, wait! Get away from it! Shiyuchi shouted at him, frantically trying to get the Medium back down to the ground, but going against the others' movements dropped their sync-rate below the necessary amount for the possessing to work. Shiyuchi was practically forced out of Kazu-chan when that happened, now hovering in the air, and quickly plummeted to the ground when he became his tangible self again.
The tree was getting annoyed by Kazu-chan's attacking and swung one of its arms at Kazu-chan to swat him away like a fly.

| Kazuhiko ignored the ghost's yells, choosing to zone the other out completely. Whatever it was he was saying or thinking or whatever, chances were it was something that would get him angrier, which wasn't good for their synchro-rate. When he felt the other go against his actions though, a weird feeling started crawling all over his body. It wasn't nice. He could feel strength being drained from him, and his body became heavier and harder to move. He was becoming even more tired than he had been in the beginning.
He turned his gaze when he heard Tsuhanako falling towards the ground. Was all of this because the ghost had unpossessed him...? Why would he do that in such a crucial moment though? Unless it had been something against the other's will... Their synchro-rate had been low to begin with...
The medium barely had time to process what was going on before the monster used one of its branches to swat him away, effectively sending him crashing into a regular tree. The hit was so strong Kazuhiko didn't even feel the pain. His vision was becoming white and blurry on the edges, and he couldn't hear Tsuhanako's voice clearly anymore. His head felt like it was spinning, and he was pretty sure his head was bleeding. He closed his eyes, feeling and hearing the tree taking slow, heavy steps towards him.

| Shiyuchi landed hard when he hit the ground as he landed on his back which knocked the wind out of him. He forced himself to pay attention to what was happening to Kazu-chan though. He caught the sight of the other slamming into a tree before falling to the ground.
"N-No, Kazu-!" His voice was cut off by the pain that hit him when he tried to move. He tried to fight through it and get to the other, but falling from that height was not something you could easily walk away from. No, he didn't want it to end here! If only Kazuhiko would just get up.
Suddenly, something hit the tree, causing it to stagger back. Shiyuchi looked around, trying to find what hit it, and saw that near Kazuhiko was another boy. It was another Medium.
"Oh no, Kei-kun, he's hurt!" Hiroyuki exclaimed to his Ghost partner, gently moving the boy's hair side to see the extent of his injuries. He then turned to face the monster, standing up to face it.
Swiftly he dashed past its legs, jumping up its back to get to where the most of the moss was on its body. As quick as he could he began to tear through the mossy area, searching for its core. When the tree monster swung its great arms to swat at him, he'd duck under it or jump over. One swing blew the moss away and revealed the location of its core.
"There, there!" he shouted with a smile on his face, "Guns, guns, guns!"
He held out both of his hands in expectation of the guns that would appear in his hands.

| Kazuhiko forced his eyes open when he heard a soft 'thud' from someone landing near him, followed by the sound of the tree staggering backwards. He could kinda see the blurrry silhouette of someone who looked to be a kid standing in front of him, before moving closer and examining the wound on his head. The last bit of coherency his brain had left told him the kid had to be a medium. When the kid turned around towards the monster, Kazuhiko turned his glance towards the blurry spot he assumed was Tsuhanako. If he was right, the ghost hadn't gotten up since he fell... "I hope he's okay..." He let his eyes close once again, this time his mind slowly drifting off into unconsciousness.
"The wound isn't bad, but it's on the head. Finish the monster off quickly." Although medicine wasn't his specialty, Kei had a fair share of knowledge on the basics, seeing how Hiroyuki was getting hurt all of the time. The other medium's injuries weren't something to be too concerned about, and the ghost was alive enough to be yelling, so he should be okay. The problem was the blow had been to the head, which is a very delicate area. It would be best if they sent this monster away and called for help. The bleeding was heavy, and it wasn't wise to try to move someone with a possible concussion.
When the tree revealed its core, Hiroyuki quickly summoned two worn out, golden guns with bright blue details into his hands. Kei knew they'd be enough to pierce the core, now that it was in plain sight. It would all be okay if the kid remembered to aim properly.

| "Yeah!" Hiroyuki shouted when the guns appeared for him and Kei, taking a hold of them and swiftly fired at the core. The guns rapidly fired many shots, the force of it all causing Hiroyuki's hands to jerk up. Luckily, that upward motion let the gun fire get to the core. As the core shattered and faded away, Hiroyuki landed safely on the ground, the guns disappearing. The tree monster stopped moving and fell over (away from everyone thank goodness), returning to a normal looking tree.
Now that it was over and they had used their finishing move, Kei had to un-possess him so they were two people again. Once Kei was tangible again next to him, Hiroyuki dashed off to the side of the Ghost laying on the ground.
"I'll help him! You check the Medium!" He said to Kei.
Despite the situation, he smiled at the Ghost laying on the ground as he knelt down next to him.
"Are you okay?"
Shiyuchi looked up at the kid, who was a bit overly happy looking. Did it look like he was okay? He had given up in trying to move when he saw that they were handling the monster, knowing they would be the kind to help them. Though, Kazu-chan was in worst condition than he was. He could see that the other was wounded on his head. Shiyuchi was bruised at most, which at the moment was immensely painful, but would fade once he rested for awhile.
"I'm fine..." he answered.
"That's good! Oh, I'm Hiroyuki, and that's Kei. Geez, it's a good thing we got here when we did! Otherwise you'd have been in big trouble!" Hiroyuki continued to smile, glancing over at Kei to watch his progress with the other Medium.
Shiyuchi rolled his eyes at the other, still laying perfectly still on his back. He'd have to lean on Hiroyuki though, and Kei would need to carry Kazu-chan.

| When the monster's core was destroyed and the tree fell over, Kei unpossessed Hiroyuki and watched the younger one run over to the fallen ghost. He let out a small sigh before walking over to the injured medium, checking him for a few seconds before determining he was unconscious. He took a quick glance at Hiroyuki and the other ghost, satisfied when he saw the latter was still conscious and merely bruised. He turned back to the unconscious boy in front of him, weighing his options. Calling for help out here and having to do all of the explaining that would be required was out of the question. Waiting for Hiroyuki's or this boy's parents wouldn't be the best idea either, since the wound on the boy's head needed to be checked. The best course of action seemed to be carrying the boy and the ghost to the nearest hospital, and making up an excuse over there, where there was no giant tree with bullet holes in it that they would need to explain.
He took off his black coat and wrapped it around the boy's neck, then securing it in place by tying his scarf around it. It all acted like some sort of cushion so the boy's head wouldn't be bent roughly while he was being carried. One could never be too careful with blows to the head or neck, and he didn't walk around with those collars used to hold people's heads in their places.
Once all that was done, he carefully picked the boy off the ground, making sure to support his head in an okay angle. He walked towards Hiroyuki and the other ghost, making a gesture to the younger with his head, meaning that they should get moving. He pitied the other ghost a little for having to deal with the chatter-box of a kid in a situation like the one he was in.

| "Okay, Kei-kun~! Come on, uh...I didn't get your name," Hiro said taking a hold of the Ghost's arm to help him get up off the ground.
"I'm Shiyuchi, he's Kazuhiko," he answered, wincing as he was helped up.
"Nice to meet you! I just wish it was under better circumstances than this. I mean, we've got to get you guys all fixed up after that fight," Hiroyuki replied, letting Shiyuchi drape his arm over his shoulders, since Hiroyuki was shorter. He couldn't carry Shiyuchi 'cause he was too small, but as long as the other could limp along then Hiroyuki could let the Ghost lean on him for support. He was strong enough for that.
Shiyuchi didn't reply, finding this kid's incessant chatter to be annoying, though that didn't seem to deter the kid.
"I guess we're going to the hospital that's nearby. Lucky there is one! Kazuhiko seems to have lost consciousness. It's a good thing you're not, I don't think I could carry you!" he chuckled and smiled at Shiyuchi as he helped the other walk, following after Kei.

| Kei was the first one to reach the hospital, since Hiroyuki was supporting someone bigger than him, and so had to walk at a slower pace. Upon getting inside, one of the nurses rushed over almost immediately, probably because he was carrying an unconscious person who was bleeding from the head. "He fell at the forest," He explained to her, receiving a curt nod before the nurse called for a stretcher. Luckily, she seemed too worried about the medium kid to bother asking for any more details.
He made his way to one of the unoccupied chairs in the room, sitting down and crossing his legs. It shouldn't take Hiroyuki too long to come with the other ghost. By the time they got there, the nurses should be able to tell them what was the exact condition the injured medium was in.
He kept an eye on the door waiting for the pair to show up, while mentally regretting not having brought a book or something to distract himself with. The hospital was noisy with all the people waiting to either see whoever they were going to visit, or to be attended themselves. Someone was sneezing and blowing his nose loudly every second or so, making Kei cringe every time the loud noise filled the room. Another person was yelling at the receptionist because he wanted something done fast, and there was a little kid crying somewhere. "I hate hospitals..."

| Hiroyuki couldn't walk quite as fast as Kei was since Shiyuchi couldn't exactly move quickly. He watched as Kei left him behind, a slight pout on his face, but turned to smile at Shiyuchi.
"Good thing Kei can move quickly so Kazuhiko can get some help fast. I'm sure you'll be able to hold out right? You are walking, though slowly. Sorry I can't carry you or anything. If I could I would, and then you wouldn't have to walk. It looks like it hurts," Hiroyuki chattered on, noticing how with every step Shiyuchi would wince.
Shiyuchi glared down at the kid, with a no-duh-it-hurts look.
"Don't worry about it. Let's just hurry up and get to where I can sit down," he replied, looking back up at where there were going.
"Yeah, good idea. I'm sure you'll be fine when you can sit and rest," Hiroyuki began and then kept on talking until they reached the hospital.
Kei was already sitting in the waiting room, Kazuhiko not with him since a nurse had already taken him. Hiroyuki helped Shiyuchi sit down in a chair next to Kei.
"Should I get a nurse?" he asked.
"No, I'm fine," he answered before looking to Kei, "have the nurses said anything about him yet?"
His face was still slightly contorted with pain, but it was nothing he couldn't handle. It was just the fact that he had to walk here that didn't help, but he knew he'd be fine. Kazu-chan on the other hand, he didn't know, and it was all his fault that they were here in the first place. He knew that if he was arguing with the Medium that they're sync-rate would be low, yet they went after that monster anyways. Everything he said didn't help either. In fact, he was pretty sure it made it worse. Now Kazuhiko was in the hospital with a head wound, and all he could do was blame himself. He wouldn't blame Kazuhiko if the Medium never wanted to see him again. If only he hadn't been so stupid this never would have happened.

| "They just took him away a minute ago," Kei turned so he could look at Hiroyuki and the other ghost, more specifically at the later. The woulds he had weren't too bad, but he still looked to be in pain. Besides, since he had hut himself by falling, even if he wasn't bleeding, there could be internal damage that they couldn't see. "You should get someone to check on you too though."
Kei tuned away from the two again, looking at a blank point in the room. It wasn't any of his business if the ghost kid decided to take his advice or not. Knowing Hiroyuki though, if the kid knew there could be something wrong with the other, he wouldn't shut up until a nurse came to check on the ghost. He wasn't looking forward to that.
Just as he was mentally preparing himself for even more noise, a nurse came into the room, looking around a little before she spotted them and quickly ran over. "You're the ones who brought that kid in, right? He seems to be okay, and from what I hear he's already waking up, but we'd still like to keep him here for the night, just in case. Can any of you make a call to his parents?"
He made a small gesture towards the injured ghost. Being the kid's partner and all, he probably had the parents' number. The nurse looked like she noticed how the other's face still showed he was in pain though. Looked like that ghost was getting checked up even if he didn't want to.
