Newsletter?

Should I have a newsletter that gets sent out once a month, like, around the 15th or something? First we'll need more people and more events happening. Like, it could announce if a user has made some special progress in their RPing skills, or to give honorable mentions to RPs that are going strong. I can put just general updates to the site in the newsletter, as well as whatever comes to mind.

And so there's less burden on my shoulders, we could have a newsletter committee where everyone does a certain part of the newsletter and then I can go put it all together and send it out.

Please post whatever suggestions you may have for a newsletter here. ^_^ All ideas are welcomed.

Perhaps there could be a section that says who's gone away, if they've mentioned it?

Who has gone away, as in left the site?

Uhh... More like, who's going to go on holiday or something like that. Without access to the interwebs.

Say, if you're waiting for someone to reply in a RP and they don't for a month... Then you find out they'd gone away and you could've continued on before...

Am I making much sense? ^^'

Ah, yes, I get it. That could be placed in newsletters, so then that way (hopefully) everyone will know. ^^

lol, they should or, at least everyone should have common sense. some people just seem to be without that. And you'd think it would be common, hence its name. XD It seems rare. lol

xD Rename it 'rare sense' perhaps. Doesn't have as much a ring to it, though.

no not really, and if it was called rare sense, then you couldn't make fun of people who don't have it. XD

And the people who do have it, would probably be discriminated against, as it is with humans...

We could also have current updates on the roleplaying as well, like info on new topics, current plots, and characters as well. I use to do that for one of my old forum sites that died, sadly.

I rather like that idea. It'd be handy for the people who constantly request recaps. x3

@Dark-kun: We could do that. It'll help with keeping people updated so there's no excuse for not knowing what's going on. ^^

I would love to write for the newsletter each week/month. I can make it just like a newpaper or something, and include other fun things as well.

It will probably be a monthly thing (too lazy to do weekly) and if you wrote for it that would be awesome! ^_^

You could add publicity for some RPs going through hard times~ Like shamelessly asking people to join them XD
